For six years Bristol Silents’ Slapstick Comedy Festival has brought the very best of both the great silent clowns and modern day visual comedy to Bristol.
Following Michael Palin's appearance at Slapstick Festival in January we are delighted to announce that his co-writing partner and film-making Python friend
Terry Jones has accepted our intivation to take part in our 10 year anniversary celebrations by hosting an event celebrating the most visual of all Python films THE HOLY GRAIL.
This special screening celebrates the 35 year anniversary of Monty Python’s first feature film.
Making a virtue of their low budget the Pythons ripped apart the 'historical' tale of
King Arthur by adorning it with anachronisms, errors, songs, a killer rabbit and an incredibly rude Frenchman.
Terry introduces the film and following the screening will be in discussion and Q&A.
This is a special event for Bristol's Slapstick Comedy Festival.
